My Online Lawyer is a trading name of MyOnlineLawyer Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12856399). Our registered office is Suite 1, 5 The Parade, Monarch Way, Ilford IG2 7HT. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZB070127.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect when you use myonlinelawyer.co.uk (the “Website”) or contact us, why we use it, who we share it with and what your rights are.
We are an introducer, not a law firm. We connect you with SRA-regulated solicitors, who give the legal advice. When you instruct a solicitor firm, that firm becomes the controller of the information it holds about you, and its own privacy notice applies.

The solicitor firm keeps its own client file for as long as its rules require.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies, which keep the Website secure and working, for example the booking form. These do not need your consent.
- Live chat: Tawk.to sets cookies so that a chat continues as you move between pages.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity show us how people use the Website. Clarity records how visitors move around and click on pages, but it does not record what you type into forms.
- Advertising cookies: Google Ads and the Meta Pixel tell us which adverts lead to bookings and let us show our adverts to people who have visited the Website. Our own cookie,
molsrc, records which advert or website brought you to us (for example, an advert’s click reference), so we can see which adverts lead to bookings. It lasts 90 days and does not contain your name or contact details.
We set analytics and advertising cookies only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
